Eagles bounce Gayville-Volin In Monday night basketball action, the Irene-Wakonda Eagles rolled over Gayville-Volin 59-8. The young Eagles led 48-0 after three quarters. Scoring leaders for Irene-Wakonda were Kelli Johnston with 14, Casey Hessman 8, Melanie Kathol 7, and Brittney Bakke, Nicole Nielsen, and Jennifer Devine each chipped in 6 points.
With the win the Eagles improved their season record to 12 and 3. Two of these three losses were only by one point.
