Dakota Life presents new stories for Feb. programs South Dakota Public Broadcasting's popular television magazine program Dakota Life is back with a new episode of great South Dakota stories this February.
The Emmy-nominated program, known for finding the stories that make life in our state unique, will feature several segments from around South Dakota.
"Black Hills Reptiles" looks at reptiles and amphibians, some of the most overlooked creatures of Black Hills ecosystem, with expert Dr. Brian Smith. "South Dakota Festival of Books" goes behind the scenes at the South Dakota Center for the Book's second annual festival celebrating books and authors, which was held in Sioux Falls earlier this year. Finally, "The Bat Biologist" features Joel Tigner and explains why he is working so hard to ensure the bats living throughout the Black Hills are thriving.
The February episode of Dakota Life will air Feb. 3, 8 p.m.; Feb. 6, 1 p.m.; Feb. 19, 11:30 p.m. and Feb. 21, 10:30 p.m.
