State quarter designs unveiled Gov. Mike Rounds has unveiled the five final designs of the state quarter.
Public voting began at 10 a.m. Jan. 12, on the internet through the state Web site, or www.sdquarter.com and by written ballot at all South Dakota banks and credit unions.
Public voting will continue through 5 p.m. April 15, and all computer and written ballots will be tabulated. the U.S. Mint will be advised of the public vote results by April 20.
