UPDATE: Victims In Wakonda Fire Identified Four children were killed Friday morning in a house fire southeast of Wakonda. According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the victims are Allyson Eckert, 17, Austin Eckert, 11, Cole Eckert, 6 and Carli Eckert, 3.
The children's parents are Brian and Rhonda Eckert, rural Wakonda.
The sheriff's office, Vermillion Fire Department, Vermillion Ambulance Department, Wakonda Fire Department and First Responders responded to the fire at 9:10 a.m.
