Lenten schedule set in Wakonda Mid-week Lenten services will be held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. beginning on Feb. 9 at the Wakonda United Methodist Church. Each of the six churches will host a week, ending with a Maundy Thursday communion service back at the United Methodist Church. The rotation schedule is as follows:
* Feb. 9, 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church.
* Feb. 16, 7 p.m. at Bethel Baptist.
* Feb. 23, 7 p.m. at the U.C.C., Congregational.
* March. 2, 7 p.m. at First Lutheran.
* March 9, 7 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Lutheran.
* March 16, 7 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic (a special service of prayer and teaching).
* March 24 (Maundy Thursday), 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church.
Members of the Wakonda community and surrounding area are invited to join together to hear "The Voices of Lent."
