Prinsen named PRIDE employee of the month Karla Prinsen, therapeutic recreation assistant, was selected as the Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center (SVVMC) December 2004 PRIDE Employee of the Month.
Prinsen has been employed at SVVMC since October 2003.
"Karla is always so helpful and kind and ready to help wherever needed. She cares about the residents and employees and always has a smile on her face." These comments were shared in employee of the month nominations for Prinsen.
"Karla has been a real asset to the Therapeutic Recreation Department and has a smile residents and their families look forward to seeing each day," said Kathy Van Kley, director of therapeutic recreation and volunteer coordinator at Sioux Valley Vermillion Care Center.
Prinsen and her husband, Tom, have two children and reside in Vermillion.
