Tanager gymnasts lose to Madison Bulldogs By Jim Prosser The Tanager gymnasts had a team point total of 118.4 in the dual meet held at the Madison High School gym on Friday, Jan. 28, facing the State ?A� champion Madison Lady Bulldogs.
The home team scored 138.5 (a new Madison school record) to claim another victory. Vermillion was without the services of Ariel Hofman because of an injury.

Raychel Lorenz, 7.7 (sixth), Emily Renner, 7.5, Calle Sorensen, 7.4, Tristen Upward, 4.4, Sarah Christopherson, 8.15 (fourth).

�Considering the circumstances I was satisfied with the results,� said coach Mark Upward.
In the JV section, Renner placed fifth on floor. Kreier was sixth on bars, Lorenz had the best Tanager JV score on beam (6.05 for fifth) and the duo of Stacey Joy and Kreier were sixth and seventh on bars, and Joy placed fifth on floor.
More than 15 young Vermillion gymnasts had a chance to compete in the JV division.
