The Vermillion wrestling team improved its dual record to 10-8 on the year. The kids came together tonight and wrestled as a team, said coach Casey OConnor. We are still dealing with some minor injuries, but we are continuing to focus on the regional tournament in a couple of weeks.
Many of our youngwrestlers are stepping up, wrestling varsity, and improving by the week, he said. This time of the year, wrestling is more mental than physical. We have been working hard since November, but now is the time when it all counts.
