Vermillion will be 'Capital for a Day' Gov. Mike Rounds has announced that he plans to visit six towns across South Dakota for his 2005 Capital for a Day tour.
The governor and his staff, cabinet, and agencies plan to visit Vermillion in April.
"I'm really looking forward to visiting each of these unique communities during our 2005 "Capital for a Day" tour," said Gov. Rounds. "Capital for a Day events give me an opportunity to speak with a variety of individuals and to learn more about local issues."
Specific dates and schedule of events will be announced at a later time.
In the past two years, Gov. Rounds and his staff have traveled to 11 communitites across South Dakota for Capital for a Day events. These communities include: Brookings, Sturgis, Wessington Springs, Lemmon, Aberdeen, Hot Springs, Yankton, Faith, Britton, Wall and Chamberlain.
