City council meets March 21 The Vermillion City Council will hold its regular meeting 7 p.m. Monday, March 21, at the Al Neuharth Media Center on the USD campus.
The council will open bids for two rotary mowers and one reel mower.
It will also take action on several resolutions. One would authorize the purchase of outdoor warning sirens; a second one, if approved, would declare the intent of the city to participate in the process of seeking designation as a "Preserve America Community."
The council will also take action on a recommended appointment of a new Central Ward alderman to replace Drake Olson, who recently resigned from the council because a new job requires him to move from Vermillion.
