Event will raise funds for Logue family The Wakonda and Centerville communities are teaming up to host a benefit for Abby Logue of Wakonda on Saturday, April 9, at the Wakonda Legion Hall. Abby, the 1-year-old daughter of Tom and Angie Logue, received a kidney from her father on Jan. 4. A free will donation will be taken for the supper which begins at 4 p.m. An auction will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a dance.
Modern Woodman of America will match $2,500, Clay County Chapter of Thrivent will match $800 and Turner County Chapter to Thrivent will match $300.
