FutureLearn to host virtual discussion about education FutureLearn at The University of South Dakota invites regional educators to attend a discussion through Access Grid technology about the future of teaching and learning.
The conference will take place Thursday, March 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. K-12 educators, higher education, and adult educators, and those interested in the field of educational technology are especially encouraged to participate.
The hosts of the discussion are looking for faculty members or graduate students who would be interested in presenting 30-minute sessions or participating in panel discussions at the conference. Presentations should fit into one of the following categories:
* New and innovative educational uses of current technology
* Emerging technologies
* New instructional or models�
* Major trends of the near future (5-10 years)
* Speculations for the far future (more than 10 years).
It is not necessary to present in order to participate at the conference. However, your university or site must have an Access Grid node. Sites should arrive at the virtual venue 30 minutes in advance for technical preparation.
