Teresa Carlisle Named March Employee of the Month at USD Teresa Carlisle, secretary at The University of South Dakota's School of Law, is the Career Service Employee of the Month for March. Carlisle was presented with the award March 1 at a ceremony in the law school.
Carlisle was nominated by numerous people in her department.
"Teresa is always willing to help whenever she is asked. There is no job too big or too small for her," said Sharon Wieman, Carlisle's supervisor. "If there is a job you need done efficiently and in a timely manner, Teresa is your "go to" person."
"She is an outstanding secretary and a delightful person. Her conscientious work habits and cheerful disposition make her an indispensable member of our secretarial team in the faculty suite of offices," said Chuck Thatcher, professor of law.
Carlisle is grateful for the tremendous amount of support and the kind words, but she is also grateful for the opportunity to work at USD.
"I feel very lucky and I appreciate the fact that I was hired. I really enjoy working with the faculty and staff and especially the students," she said.
Carlisle lives in Vermillion with her husband Cal and their two sons, Tyler and Ryan.
