USD women's tennis team drops matches The University of South Dakota tennis squad (1-6) dropped a pair of duals on Saturday.
The Coyotes lost to Northwest Missouri State, 5-0, and Missouri Western, 8-1, on the road at Maryland, MO, and St. Joseph's, MO, respectively.
Northwest Missouri State, ranked in the top 30 nationally, won three doubles matches as well as a pair of singles competition at Maryland, MO, on Saturday morning.
With the match clinched at 5-0 for Northwest Missouri State, the teams canceled the remaining four singles matches.
Maya Ristic of Vermillion won at number one singles to highlight USD's performance against Missouri Western at St. Joseph's, MO, on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, Ristic improved to 5-1 on the season.
