VHS girls' golfers win duals By Jim Prosser The Tanager girls� golfers made winning the event of the day as they defeated West Central 365-378 in a match held in Hartford on Thursday, April 7. The JV joined in the festivities with a 190-192 victory.
VHS varsity scorers were: Jackie Thomas � 82 (medalist) Anna Isaacson � 85; Chelsea Guer � 89; Sarah Christopherson) � 109; Paige Prosser � 110.
The JV played a 9-hole round with Ariel Hofman recording a 56; Kelsey Osbourne � 60; and Liz Day � 74.
On Monday, April 11, Madison was the second in a row Big Eight conference foe to succumb to the Tanagers. This time the score was 180 � 195 in the 9-hole match played at The Bluffs in Vermillion.
Leading the home team scorers were: Isaacson � 40 (medalist); Thomas � 45; Gauer � 45; Christopherson � 50; and Prosser � 52.
The JV lost to the Madison Lady Bulldogs 195 � 180; with Osborne scoring 62; Krista Schwasinger � 66; Hofman � 67; Laura Hansen � 73; and Day � 75.
