VHS musicians successful at contest

VHS musicians successful at contest Vermillion High School Concert Choir, Women's Choir and Symphonic Winds participated in the Region I Large Group Contest on Wednesday, April 6 held at Vermillion High School. VHS Concert Choir and Women's Choir received straight division I ratings for the fifth year in a row.

Concert Choir performed Toccata of Praise by Joseph M. Martin, Shoshone Love Song and Elijah Rock arranged by Roger Emerson.

The women's choir performed Oh dear, What Can the Matter Be arranged by Russell Robinsen, Kyrie arranged by Sandra Howard and Dance on My Heart by Allan Koepke.

The VHS Symphonic Winds received a division I rating for the 14th year in a row. They performed Invercargill arranged by Andrew Glover and Century Point by Robert Sheldon.
