First Dakota named 5th largest farm loan lender As published in the April 21, American Banker publication, First Dakota National Bank is ranked as the 5th largest Community Ag Bank with the largest farm loan portfolios in the United States.

First Dakota has seen a 14.75 percent increase in loans from previous years to help them reach this fifth place ranking. Other banks listed in the top five include: Stockman Bank of Montana, United Bank of Iowa, New Frontier Bank in Colorado and DL Evans Bank in Idaho.
With total assets exceeding $525 million and a financial team of over 230 dedicated banking professionals, First Dakota has grown to 12 offices including: Chamberlain, Kimball, Parkston, Salem, Vermillion, Wagner, with two locations each in Yankton, Mitchell and Sioux Falls.
There are also loan production offices in Corsica, and in Elgin, Hastings, and Ogallala, NE.
