Kenton pinned in special ceremony

Kenton pinned in special ceremony In the first combined ceremony ever held at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE, both associate degree nursing and licensed practical nursing students received their nursing pins in a special pinning ceremony last week.

Lindsay Kenton, daughter of Dan and Lori Kenton, was pinned with a practical nursing pin. She is a graduate of Vermillion High School.

The pinning ceremony marks the end of the first year of a newly integrated nursing program at Northeast.�Both the associate degree nursing and licensed practical nursing programs now have the same entrance criteria, require many of the same general education courses, and share the first two semesters.
