Larson graduates from Dordt College with degree in communication Leslie Larson, Vermillion, was among 311 Dordt
College students awarded diplomas at the 2005 commencement ceremony held Friday, May 7, at 10 a.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. Larson, daughter of Leroy and Marlys Larson, Vermillion, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in communication: public relations. She also has minors in human resources and recreation.
The commencement address, "The Past: A Challenge for the Future," was presented by Deborah Haan, wife of the first president of Dordt College, the late B.J. Haan.
Dordt College's Alumni Association hosted a reception in Dordt's Recreation Center for the graduates and their families following the ceremony.
