Neufeld is swimming medalist for Grinnell Darryl Neufeld, a senior from Vermillion, participated in varsity men's swimming for Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA.
Neufeld wrapped up an outstanding Pioneer career with a pair of gold medals at the 2005 Midwest Conference Champions. He placed first in the 400m Individual Medley (4:20:64), and was part of the champion 800m Freestyle Relay squad. He also placed fourth in the 1650 yard Freestyle (17:45:50), and fifth in the 500m Freestyle (4:59:49). He also earned Academic All-Conference honors.
Grinnell's men's swimming and diving team won their fourth straight Midwest Conference title and the 29th MWC championship in school-history with a three-day total of 748 points at the 2005 Midwest Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.
