Paintball team takes first place in competition Team Marked For Life took first place at the Northern Plains Ultimate Crown season opener in Rapid City May 14 in the novice paintball division.

Team Marked For Life is based in Vermillion. Members are Tom Harnois, 41, mid player, Tommy Harnois, 18, front player, Mike Heine, 17, front player, Josh Anglin, 18, mid player, Matt Neal, 16, back player, Jake Honn, 25, mid player and Troy Moe, 16, back player. They have been together for three years, playing for two years as an organized tournament paintball team. Team MFL has been competing in the Northern Plains Ultimate Crown for two years, and has participated in several tournaments throughout the tri-state area. Last season the five-man team finished fifth in its division of 23 teams, and placed top four in every event it attended.

Team MFL is a non-profit

organization set up to help promote paintball as a sport, as well as educating paintball safety in the area. This would not have been possible with out the 2005 sponsors: Coffee Cup, Todd's Electric, Coyote Cleaning, Wade Fligge from XS Energy Drinks, and Open Mike's.
