HEAD:Senior golfers chilled by wind The sun warmed the seniors up a bit but the strong wind made it seem cold. We had many excuses for our play and we needed them all. The seniors will be back next week you can count on it. We had a group of even par a 36 on a tough day by Pete Berglund, Mo Marcotte and Jack Stewart. Other prize winners at 38 were Dave Bak, Ted Van Bruggen and Bob Lund followed by two teams at 39: Side Davis, Cal Peterson and Quentin Oleson with Vern Holter, Ron Steckelberg, Gene Iverson and Jim Reed. There were two teams at 40: Ross King, Cleland Cook, Ray Lynn and Maurice Erickson along with Ross Johnson, Ken Beringer and Tim O'Connor. There were eight birdies scored this date.
