Bogged down

Bogged down Mother Nature provided a unique challenge to workers who are digging the trench to bury pipe for the Lewis & Clark Water System in the Vermillion area. Work came to a muddy halt on Friday, June 10, as the crew's track hoe almost sank away in saturated soil. This week's weather, with its warmer temperatures and dryer conditions, has been more cooperative.
