Clubs WELCA views hats

Trinity's Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America brought their children to a salad supper at 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 15 in the church's Fellowship Hall. Cindy Osborne chaired the committee in charge of the special event. Following the meal, WELCA members and their guests enjoyed a delightful program about hats and history presented by Shirley Huber. Vintage hats from her collection were modeled by family members and friends, including Teresa, Tara, and Tomi Huber; Roberta Bensen; Scott, Jill, and Kayla Munger; and Richard, Brenda, and Amber Walker. Youth from confirmation classes prepared the hall for the Mother-Child Salad Supper.

Senior card party

On June 8, there were 17 bridge and 26 pitch players. Winners at bridge were: first � Robin Eisenmenger; second �� Adeline Isaacson; third � Leone Kryger; Blind Bogey � Jane Kulger; low � Lona Christensen. Fran Mollet shot the moon during the pitch games. Refreshments were furnished by Fran Moore and Maxine Millette.
