Finance seminar planned June 16 Do you wonder why you never seem to get a leg up on your credit balance? Do you know the steps to take to avoid getting over your head in debt? Are you already over your head and need to find ways to ease the stress and make affordable payments? Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of Lutheran Social Services will sponsor a financial management seminar on Thursday, June 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the CCCS office located at Trinity Lutheran Church, 816 E. Clark, in Vermillion. Carol Voss-Ward, certified credit counselor, will present "Credit Check-Up," a seminar designed to help consumers understand the credit granting and reporting process, the true costs of credit, the wise use of credit, solving credit problems and reestablishing credit.
