60th anniversary Howard Ballard and Rosemary Schaefer were married July 11, 1945 in St. Patrick�s Catholic Church in Wakonda.
They have three children: Robert Ballard, Sun City West, AZ, Richard Ballard, Los Gatos, CA, and Mary Ballard Iverson, Glendale, AZ. They also have four grandchildren: Brent Ballard, Katie Iverson, Sarah Iverson and Kara Iverson Monroe.
Howard and Rosemary retired in Vermillion in 1979 and moved to Sun City West.
There will be a family gathering at the home of their son Robert in Sun City West on July 9.
