? Public Meeting � City Hall � The City Hall Committee would like to invite the public to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at the William J. Radiagan EMS/Fire Station on Dakota Street. Citizens are encouraged to come learn about and to provide input about some options that have been identified by the committee for a future city hall facility. We hope to see you there!

A $2 donation to the American Cancer Society will purchase a balloon that will honor those that have been touched by cancer. Community Blood Bank � Mobile Unit at SVVMC: Please consider donating blood on Tuesday, July 26.�The mobile unit will be in the Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center ER Parking Lot from 1 to 3:30 p.m. that day.�You can sign up for a time in the Laboratory or just stop in that day.�Your donation saves lives!

Crazy/Fun Daze � Thursday, July 28, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Vermillion Chamber of Commerce & Development Company is inviting retail businesses to participate in Vermillion�s upcoming �Crazy Daze� event! We�re encouraging businesses to set up tables with merchandise for sale outside on their sidewalks and in their parking lots. If you need assistance, we will help you. ? USD Football Camps. The 2005 USD Football Camps are a unique opportunity for Vermillion to showcase our community and The University of South Dakota to prospective future students. Each year approximately 1,700 young people attend USD Football Camps, which has a significant impact on Vermillion�s retail businesses and the local economy. The Vermillion Chamber of Commerce & Development Company is excited to have USD hosting this wonderful event! We thank USD Coyote Athletics and the coaching staff for their roles in making this happen.
? Congratulations to Heidi � Heidi Peterson has announced her engagement and future plans to move to Brookings. We are excited for her and the new opportunities that she will experience, but we will definitely miss her presence in our office and the contributions that she has made to our organization and to Vermillion.
