? National Music Museum Conference � Friday, July 1-Monday, July 4 at the National Music Museum. Celebrating the 500th birthday of Andrea Amati. �The Secrets, Lives and Violins of the Great Cremona Makers 1505-1744.� The National Music Museum presents a four-day conference to explore the methods and workshops of the great Cremonese maker as well as the cultural and economic influences of the times, including concerts and a banquet. ? Siouxland Kennel Club All Breed Dog Show & Obedience Show � Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3 at Clay County Fairgrounds. Help us welcome this show that has over 1,200 entries!

? Public Meeting � City Hall � The City Hall Committee would like to invite the public to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at the Fire Station on Dakota Street. Citizens are encouraged to come learn about and to provide input about some options that have been identified by the committee for a future City Hall facility. We hope to see you there!

? Verifications, Inc. � Congratulations to the State of South Dakota and to Mitchell for being selected by Verifications, Inc. as the future home of their expansion site. Verifications, Inc. is headquartered in Minneapolis and does employee background checks for private, government, and non-profit organizations. They will employ 150 people in the Mitchell area. Vermillion was a finalist in the company�s selection process. Staff would like to thank our board, City Council, the Clay County Commissioners, our local bankers, and everyone else involved for their efforts and support on this project.
