The DearReader.com Book Club offers many selections to Internet patrons. July is a busy month at the Vermillion Public Library. Join us to celebrate the �Dragons, Dreams, and Daring Deeds� Summer Reading Program. Celebrate the release of J.K. Rowling�s sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. There will be a special gathering in honor of Harry�s birthday at the Harry Potter Party, on Monday, July 25, starting at 2:30 p.m. in the Community Room. The activities include making your own wand, creating potions, and much more!
Show your creativity on Tuesday, July 12 by making craft projects and participating in art activities. Wednesday is movie day with a children�s film to be shown from 1 to 3 p.m. and young adult films scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. All are invited for the Reading Round Table on Thursdays, from 1 to 5 p.m. Share what you have been reading and earn and incentive prize every week.
The Friends of the Vermillion Public Library will be holding their annual used book sale July 28-30. The sale will be held in the Community Room from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Support your library and stop by for some great deals and special treasures.
