Where has the summer gone? Vermillion Superintendent Mark Froke announced this week that the first day of school of the upcoming school year in the Vermillion School District is Wednesday, Aug. 24. Registration days at Vermillion schools are Aug. 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
