Take last Thursday, June 30, when they hosted Brandon Valley in a double header.
There was little to say of the 16-0 roasting in the first game. Jordan Robinson was the victim of the five-inning shutout. Paul Hammond and Nick Rasmussen had the only hits.
The second game also was played at Prentis Park but the result was a reversal of fortune as the home team pitcher, Alex Schaack, was able to contain the opposition to seven runs on six hits, recording three Ks, while his mates were charged with six scattered errors.
Scoring four runs in each of the first two innings helped to secure a comfort zone which was extended by a third inning run capped by a six-run fifth.

Haakinson � 1 for 3, 2 runs, 2 RBIs; Ryan Husby � 1 for 3, 2 runs, 2 RBIs; Robinson scored a run and Jordan Merrigan went 1 for 3 with 1 rbi.
The Vermillion Teeners now have a 2-10 season record.
