Visiting and good food was enjoyed by everyone attending. The program was presented by Peg Miller, president, on container plants. Each one attending told of their favorite container plantings, and some pictures were passed around.
Information on the upcoming District meeting at Centerville Sept. 10 was given.
On June 25 members motored to Richland and visited the beautiful flower beds of Eugene and Norma Merchant. Anyone would enjoy making this short trip, for a gardening treat.
If youve missed seeing Yard of the Month signs this summer, there is a reason. Yard of the Month recognition for June was awarded to Alan and Sue Richardson, Ron and Flora Sampson and Wade and Mylynn Hanson. At the end of June, two signs were missing. It was decided to discontinue Yard of the Month for this year. It takes several hours to cut, weld and paint a sign. If you should find our missing signs, please talk to the police or contact a garden club member thank you.
