‘Extraordinary¹ campaign earns national recognition

'Extraordinary� campaign earns national recognition The University of South Dakota's new "Extraordinary" campaign earned finalist honors at the 26th Annual Telly Awards.

USD's marketing and branding campaign, which highlights the institution�s exceptional successes, students, and faculty, features the voice of 1964 USD alumnus and former NBC anchor Tom Brokaw in both TV and radio commercials.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. Winners and finalists represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.

�We are delighted that our campaign has been recognized. The ?Extraordinary� theme clearly resonated with the judges, much as it has with our students,� said Michelle Lavallee, vice president of student services and chief marketing officer.
