Fairley family enjoys Minneapolis reunion The Fairley family reunion was held Aug. 12-14 at the Days Inn near the Mall of America and at the Minnehaha United Methodist Church in Minneapolis.
One-hundred five descendants of James Y. and Nora Fairley of Gayville attended. They came from Tanzania, Latvia, California, Oregon, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Massachusetts, Virginia and Florida.
Plans were made for the next reunion to be held in Grand Forks, ND in 2010.
