? Downtown After Dark Event � Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 5 to 9 p.m. � Main Street in Vermillion. Please join us for a community-wide relief effort to support victims of Hurricane Katrina and an evening of entertainment: food, shopping, fellowship and fun. Enjoy the evening listening to jazz music and other musical entertainment. Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs. Be entertained by clowns, jugglers, face painters, stilt walkers, dancers, Mardi Gras beads, masks and other items. Enjoy famous Hurricane Drinks from Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans and indulge in some great Cajun food including gumbo, jambalaya, Po' Boys, catfish & hushpuppies, dirty rice, blackened red fish, and jerk chicken! Merchants will be open until 9 p.m., so stop in and check out their unique specials and drawings! A Red Cross booth will be accepting donations. This event is brought to you by the Vermillion Chamber of Commerce & Development Company, USD College of Fine Arts, and area merchants. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Please join us!
