Exchange vows Karyn Berg and Bryan Crouse were united in marriage on Saturday, April 16, 2005, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Vermillion. Father Rod Farke conducted the 11 a.m. ceremony.
Parents of the couple are David and Susan Berg of Vermillion, and Eugene and Sun Cha Crouse of Grand Forks, ND.
The maid of honor was Amy Berg, sister of the bride. Her personal attendant was Jane Lu. The best man was John Crouse, brother of the groom. Ushers were Brock and Brandon Metzger, cousins of the bride. Scripture readings were read by Ryan Berg, brother of the bride. Altar server was Jonathon Sullivan, flower pinner was Jennifer Sullivan. Programs were given by Michael Sullivan and guest book attendant was Sarah Berg, all cousins of the bride.
Music for the ceremony was a string quartet of USD musicians and pianist Anthony Burbach. Ali Zimmerman and Scott Schumacher, friends of the couple, sang On Eagles' Wings.
A reception for 125 guests was held at noon at the Buffalo Run Winery with Jim and Ann Sullivan, uncle and aunt of the bride, as host and hostess. Later that evening, guests enjoyed supper and karaoke at the Eagles Club in Vermillion.
Karyn is a 1994 graduate of Vermillion High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Minnesota. She is a senior quality analyst of Pearson-Vue of Bloomington, MN and is also a graduate student at the University of St. Thomas.
Bryan is a 1993 graduate of Grand Forks High School and following a four-year stint in the Marines, graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2001. He is an electrical engineer at Rosemount in Eden Prairie, MN.
Following a 10-day honeymoon in Italy, the couple is at home in Minneapolis, MN.
