Because the 18-hour class will be instructed in three-hour blocks and spread out over several weeks, Sandy Engelhaupt, Southeast Job Link's technology coordinator, believes it will be easier for individuals to fit QuickBooks into their personal and professional lives.
According to Engelhaupt, who will be instructing the course, the schedule will also give students a chance to go back to their home or office computers and practice what they have learned. That way, participants will have an opportunity to ask specific questions and address problems they might be encountering during class time.
Southeast Job Link's fall session of QuickBooks will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Technical Education Center, 1200 W. 21st St. in Yankton, on the following dates: Monday, Oct. 3, Tuesday, Oct. 4, Tuesday, Oct. 11, Wednesday, Oct. 12, Monday, Oct. 17 and Tuesday, Oct. 18.
