The fourth match was against the ladies from Blue Earth, a Minnesota power. Coach Billberg evaluated play: "This team served us tough and defended every return ball. Our blocking was adequate, however, our passing came back to haunt us, taking away any chance for a win."

In the final match, the Tanagers faced Edgerton and were soundly defeated 15-25, 19-25. The Tanager team defense had 47 digs and 36 passes while the offense had 13 kills and 2 service points.
