For the match, USD hit .172 (58k-27e-180ta) and had nine aces and six blocks. However, North Dakota hit .294 (63k-16e-160ta) with seven aces and 12 blocks.
USD senior Kristen Miller (Papillion, NE) recorded a double-double with 18 kills and 20 digs, while junior Kinsley Powers (Rapid City) hit .173 with 12 kills. Miller also had a team-high three aces.
Also in double digit kills for the Coyote were senior Angela Prochaska (Waterbury, NE) and freshman Chelsea Brandlee (Aberdeen), who had 10 kills each.
USD setter Casey Beardsley (Sterling, Co) had 47 assists, while freshman Amber Kobus (Columbus, NE) had 22 digs.
For North Dakota, Tara Holman had a match-high 19 kills and Aileen Cahill had a double-double with 16 kills and 13 digs.
Alison Louwagie had 50 assists and Nicole Delahantey had 14 digs for UND.
