USD women golfers are 4th at Concordia-St. Paul
Leading the way for USD was junior Karrie Plate (Vermillion) who shot a three-round total of 240 (81-79-80) to finish in 14th place.

Finishing a stroke back of Plate was Amanda Young (Mitchell), who tied for 15th with an 80-79-82-241.

Also in the top-20 for the Coyotes, was sophomore Amber Luitjens (Aberdeen) who fired an 83-78-82-243 to tie for 18th.

In the team standings, USD finished 29 strokes behind champion Nebraska-Omaha (935) and 18 strokes behind Minnesota State and Southwest Minnesota State, who tied for second with 946's.

Winona State's Morgan Proshek took home medalist honors by shooting a four over par 75-76-72-223.

The Coyotes will return to action on Sept. 24-25, when they will participate in the Southwest Minnesota State Invitational in Marshall, MN.
