Will marry Lindsay Marie Poppe and Barry Richard Peterson wish to announce their plans to exchange vows in a Sept. 17 wedding at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church near Vermillion.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Arlen Poppe of Crofton, NE, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Peterson of Vermillion.
Poppe, a 1999 graduate of Crofton High School and a 2003 graduate of Northeast Community College in Norfolk, earned an associate's degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at South Dakota Human Services Center in Yankton.
Peterson, a 1995 graduate of Wakonda High School, studied ag production at Lake Area Tech in Watertown. He farms north of Vermillion.
