Local Lions plan Pancake Days

The Vermillion Lions Club has been busy planning the annual Fall Pancake Days, which will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 19-20, at the National Guard Armory from 5 to 7 p.m. on both days.

Posters announcing the event are being distributed, and it should be noted that these attractive posters were designed by Lion Lindy Wipf.

The annual Fall Pancake Days is one of the primary money raising events for the club, and members are planning to sell tickets outside of Hy-Vee this year on Saturday, Oct. 15 to increase ticket sales. It should also be recalled that Pancake Days is the time to donate your used eyeglasses and hearing aids to the Vermillion Lions Club.
