Retired teachers will meet Oct. 12

The Vermillion Southeast Area of Retired Teachers will meet at the Silver Dollar Oct. 12 at 11:30 a.m. for a luncheon, program and meeting.

The program will be a presentation on prescription drugs � SHINE.

A memorial service will be held for Lynn Milton, Vermillion art educator for many years.

The Grandparent Contest, with rules provided by AARP, will be announced. The contest is open to fifth grade students in public and private schools.

Interested retired teachers are invited to attend. Reservations are not required.
