Sioux Valley names October PRIDE employee

Tracy Schurdevin, medical assistant at Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic-USD Student Health was selected as the Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center (SVVMC) October 2005 PRIDE Employee of the Month.

Schurdevin has been employed at SVVMC since September 2003.

"Tracy is a hard working, consistently dedicated employee. She is the kind of nurse you want on your team � always there to help everyone out and keeps on smiling! Tracy is a very conscientious and reliable employee. She comes to work ?ready to work.' She is a patient-oriented worker and gives great patient care. She is a team player and always looking for ways to help the team. We are very lucky to have Tracy providing service excellence every day!" These comments were shared in employee of the month nominations for Schurdevin.

"Tracy is the kind of employee everyone wants working with them; she comes to work ready to go and is always looking to help her co-workers," said Connie Wegner, clinic nurse manager, Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic-USD Student Health.

Schurdevin is married to Jim Schurdevin. Tracy and Jim have a son, Brandon, and they reside in rural Elk Point. Tracy is a native of Storm Lake, IA.
