Tanager cross country teams run in Alcester/Hudson Invitational

The top team in the boys' division was Lennox (13). Vermillion (65) placed eighth. Irene/Wakonda's Robert Gregoire placed first. The best Tanager place was ninth for Andrew Manning, Ryan Powell (32); JR Moore (41); CJ Harden (52); Jeff Donnelly (57); Brody Stone (59); and Raleigh Tiahrt (64), among the nearly 70 runners in the race.

For the girls, West Sioux was first with 25 points. Vermillion came in second (26) paced by Katarina Gombocz's first place finish in 16:01:68 minutes. Emily Renner was the Tanager's second runner (seventh); and coming in at 22, 23, and 24, were the threesome of Annie Roche, Sophie Nehlich-Arobba, and Hannah Nehlich-Arobba. Sarah Day and Chelsea Gauer finished among the 62 participants in the run.

JV divisions did not have team scores computed but, from VHS Jana Bye placed ninth and Stephanie Donahoe (22), Julie Renner (28), and Rosie Ahmed (42) were also representatives. The JV boys runners were Sam Robinson (53) Tony Hubert (54), and Skylar Tiahrt (68).
