The frosh B team lost 25- 18, 14-25, 14-16. Kayla Gale had 3 aces; Becca Hawley � 4 kills; Gale and Sara Kjose � 2 assists, each; Dana Hannahs � 7 digs.
The A squad won in three ��25-18, 20-25, and 15-13 at the EP-J HS gym. Justine Sorensen had 4 aces; Sorensen and Gale each had 5 kills; Kjose contributed 9 assists and 10 digs; while Angie Christensen was credited with 9 digs.
Then on Thursday, Oct. 13 in Vermillion, the freshmen beat Canton 25-21, 25-11.
"This match was very much a team effort," said coach Leah Bakke. "The girls communicated very well on the floor which led to a great defensive and offensive performance. The team has shown huge improvements since the beginning of the season."
