Volleyball: Eagles place sixth in TVC tourney
The Eagles played Centerville the first night, only to come up short. In the first game the score was 25-18, but the I-W Eagles came back to win the second game 22-25.�The Eagles fell in the third and fourth games, 25-8, and 25-18, to send Centerville to the second round of TVC action.

In killing action, Jessie Stockland had six, while Shawna Knutson and Kim Jensen each had two. Jensen and Stockland and Pam Kathol had two blocks.�Tiffany Ganschow had 10 points, while Jessie Rudd contributed eight.�Knutson had 15 digs, but not far behind with 14 was Jessica Peterson. In set assists, Jessie Rudd had five and Christine Healy had two.

With winning scores of 25-16, 25-22 and 25-18 the Eagles held their ground against their second round opponent, the Freeman Academy Bobcats. Jessie Stockland had six kills, while Andrea Bakke and Kim Jensen each had four kills. Ashley Anderson helped with four set assist whereas Jessie Rudd kicked out nine set assists. Tiffany Ganschow and Pam Kathol knocked in three aces apiece, both also had one block each. Ganschow had 14 points and three aces while Christine Healy had four ace serves, 13 points and 12 digs to help the Eagles to victory.

Round three of TVC Tournament action put I-W up against the Viborg Vikings. Jessie Stockland posted four kills while Jessie Rudd had seven set assists.�Ashley Anderson had 15 digs and Pam Kathol had 13. Scores were 25-14, 25-14, 25-19.

The Eagles' record is 3-8, and 1-1 in TVC regular season play.
