Team season record, 7-8.
The JV team, coached by Lori Jerred, won a two-game match, 25-23, 25-22 . Here are individual stats: Raychel Lorenz � 18 set assists; Stacy Bottolfson � 3 aces, 5 K; DeNell Dykstra � 6 K; Rachel Odens � 3 B; Kristina Blythe � 11 D; Stacey Joy � 9 D.
"The girls played well as a team," said the coach. "We were down early in both games, but were able to keep our composure and fight back for the win. This was one of our best efforts of the season."
The freshman team coached by Leah Bakke, lost a two-game match, 25-18, 25-16, and the individual stats were: Justine Sorensen and Brianna Brinkman � 3 aces, each; Angie Christensen � 4 K, 4 D; Kayla Gale � 3 set assists.
"We played hard, but our serving and serve receive could have been better," Bakke said. "We have come a long way and will continue to improve."
