? W.H. Over Museum Art Exhibit � Saturday, Oct. 29 through Wednesday, Nov 9. The W.H. Over Museum will be hosting an art exhibit titled "Minds Eye" by Dickie Lee Jones-Kee. The exhibit will feature oils, watercolors, and drawings of nature. The exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information e-mail whover@usd. edu.

? City Council Meeting � Monday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Neuharth Center. City Council agendas are available at City Council meetings are held on the first and third Monday of every month. You can view the council meetings on Cable Channel 3.

? W.H. Over Museum Volunteer Honored � Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2:30 p.m. The W.H. Over Museum is inviting the public to come to the museum and honor Dr. Alex Mehaffey. Dr. Alex Mehaffey has been a dedicated volunteer and contributor to the museum. Gov. Michael Rounds has declared Nov. 6 as "Alex Mehaffey Day" and a proclamation will be presented at 3 p.m. Please join us to honor Alex for his many contributions.

? Siouxland Blood Drive � Friday, Nov. 4. Please donate blood to help those in need. The Medical Technology Program and Sioux Valley Hospital will be conducting a blood drive. This event will be held in the CSC parking lot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on this event send e-mails to

? USD Volleyball � Friday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. Join us to cheer on The University of South Dakota women's volleyball team. They will be hosting St. Cloud State University at the DakotaDome.

? Football Game � Saturday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. University of South Dakota football hosts University of North Dakota in the DakotaDome. Go Yotes!!!

? Open House/Ribbon Cutting � On Thursday, Nov. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m., we will be having an open house for Williams & Company. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please join us at 7 Court Street to celebrate the new partnership of Williams & Company and Chickering Tax and Accounting Services.

? W.H. Over Museum Veterans Show � Come help the W.H. Over Museum pay tribute to the veterans. The W.H. Over Museum will be having a Veterans Day Program beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11. Refreshments will be served at the American Legion Auxiliary after the program.
