Christmas at the Homestead November 12
It is time to get into the holiday spirit and take a step back in time by visiting Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve on Saturday, Nov. 12 for the annual Christmas at the Homestead from noon to 4 p.m.

Visitors will get a chance to tour the homestead buildings decorated for the Christmas season. Homestead buildings include the Stavenger Lutheran Church, Shay/Adams house and the Lamont Country School. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served in the Visitor Center. Visitors will also get to enjoy carolers singing throughout the day in the Stavenger Church. It's a fun, free event for the whole family.

Decorations are provided by Petal Pusher, Gordon Drive Hy-Vee Floral Department and the Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve staff and volunteers.

Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve is located off Interstate 29 Exit 4, one mile west, and one-half mile south. Follow the brown nature area signs from the interstate.
